Fishbowl Expert Gets Miakomo Set Up Fast With A New Inventory Database And Integrations So They Can Breathe Easier

Miakomo, a Utah-based medical supplies manufacturer of reusable respirators, facemasks, and filters, faced surging demand during the COVID-19 pandemic and needed faster manufacturing and fulfillment processes, employee training, and a consolidated inventory system. They engaged Fishbowl Inventory to deploy Fishbowl Manufacturing with a Virtual On-Site Implementation to create a single database and integrate shipping, e-commerce, accounting, and 3PL workflows.

Fishbowl Inventory delivered a two-day virtual on-site implementation and training, building Miakomo’s parts, BOMs, locations, users, and costs, integrating ShipStation, Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and a third-party 3PL, and testing live purchase orders and shipments. The result: in just two days Miakomo had automated order routing to the 3PL, real-time inventory and tracking sync with Shopify and Fishbowl, scheduled exports to QuickBooks Online, and a streamlined manufacturing and fulfillment process that let the company “breathe much easier” under high demand.
