University of Wisconsin Credit Union (UWCU) needed to move away from manual identity and access management processes that were creating inefficiencies, security risks, and compliance gaps as regulatory demands increased. The credit union launched an IAM RFI and selected Fischer Identity to help automate user lifecycle management, streamline access requests, enforce role-based policies, support access certification, and improve reporting and analytics.

Fischer Identity implemented a phased IAM solution for UWCU, starting with automated provisioning and deprovisioning for employees and consultants, self-service password management and access requests, and administrative provisioning for business applications. Fischer Identity also supported UWCU’s transition to UltiPro and Office 365 and deployed access certification and attestation capabilities for compliance. The result was improved provisioning accuracy, reduced IT workload and security risk, smoother audits, and measurable ROI.
