Successful Migration Away from TridentHE's Non-Support Solution to Fischer Identity

California State University, San Bernardino faced a need to replace TridentHE’s non‑support Identity solution after experiencing issues and deployment delays with TridentHE’s Provisioning and Password management. Seeking a supported, on‑premise alternative for Password Governance (integrating with PeopleSoft, Active Directory and LDAP), they engaged Fischer Identity to migrate that capability.

Fischer Identity implemented its Password Governance module, achieving a soft go‑live by the end of August despite COVID‑19 disruptions and opening the service to all end users. As a result, California State University, San Bernardino is no longer on a non‑support solution for password management, and Fischer Identity is now working with the university to plan replacement of the remaining Provisioning component.
