Power to Decide Relies on FiscalNote Solutions to Track Fast-Moving Reproductive Health Laws

Power to Decide is a nonprofit that helps young people access sexual and reproductive health information and services. Its three-person government affairs team faced a fast‑moving, high‑volume policy environment—especially around abortion and contraceptive access—across all 50 states and at the federal level, and needed a way to monitor changing laws, counter misinformation, and maintain relationships with Congress on a small budget.

Using FiscalNote’s suite—Knowlegis for personalized Hill outreach and contact tracking, alerts and state bill monitoring, and VoterVoice for mobilizing advocates and measuring engagement—the team stayed nimble, scaled its reach, and demonstrated impact. Results included rapid state‑level tracking, effective congressional engagement, an advocacy push that generated 7,000 messages from 2,100 advocates, stronger reporting to show ROI, and the ability to “do more with less.”
