Reducing Checks and Increasing Electronic Payments Russell Sigler Sees ROI in First 30 Days of Integrated Payables

Russell Sigler, a US HVAC distributor, was printing about 300 checks per week and wanted to cut payments-processing costs, free up AP time, and migrate checks to electronic payments. To do this it partnered with FIS and adopted FIS’s bank-agnostic integrated payments platform and vendor enrollment program to simplify payments and accelerate electronic adoption.

FIS implemented a 12‑week rollout—mapping payment files, setting up bank connections and remittance layouts, and running a vendor enrollment campaign—then began weekly payment processing on Russell Sigler’s behalf. As a result, FIS helped migrate a portion of payments to virtual card, outsourced check printing and mailing, delivered ROI within the first 30 days, and generated ongoing monthly rebates that are being reinvested into the business.
