CapStar Bank, a Nashville-based institution that grew to more than $1 billion in assets, needed to standardize frontline sales and service workflows and improve its Deposit Origination processes across multiple branches. To plan and realize the benefits of the IBS Sales and Service Suite, CapStar engaged FIS and leveraged FIS Consulting Services to assess requirements and prepare for deployment of the Deposit Origination and Service Request Management applications.

FIS implemented and configured the IBS Sales and Service Suite to CapStar’s specifications and guided a staged rollout that completed on time in August 2013. The FIS-led solution reduced account‑opening time, transitioned loan‑only customers to frontline staff, improved training and quality, increased BSA risk‑assessment efficiency, and cut deposit exceptions by 40% through e-signatures, improved signature cards/resolutions, better CD completions, and additional due diligence.
