LBBW, one of Germany's largest structurers and a leader in autocallable products, needed a customized workflow that could integrate with its many internal systems to price, manage and distribute complex structured products. To meet this challenge it turned to FIS, deploying FIS' complete, integrated, automated front-to-back solutions for structured products pricing, trade life cycle management, electronic distribution and quoting.
FIS implemented its Trading and Connectivity solution to provide full coverage of LBBW’s equity structured products business and to publish prices on Reuters, while automating processes across the trade lifecycle. The partnership—now more than a decade long—has reduced errors, increased automation and efficiency, enabled regular product innovation and pioneering issuance, boosted profitability, and has since been expanded by LBBW to include treasury management solutions.
