Hosted Digital Bank and Outsourced Services Provider partnered with FIS to create a disruptive, mobile-first financial app aimed at underbanked U.S. customers. The challenge was to launch a fully hosted digital bank and outsourced operations that support account servicing, mobile access, payments, remote deposit capture and a virtual back office, moving from a friends-and-family pilot to a public launch while meeting U.S. regulatory requirements.

FIS deployed its Modern Banking Platform along with Code Connect, VBO, Digital One, Prime Compliance Suite, debit card and item-processing capabilities, eDelivery, call center and decision solutions to provide a single-source hosted and outsourced solution. FIS enabled a staged rollout (friends-and-family pilot followed by public launch), became the first client to sign for the Modern Banking Platform, met aggressive timelines and compliance expectations, and delivered end-to-end hosting and back-office operations that allowed the client to go live and scale its mobile-first offering.
