Silvergate Bank, a $958 million San Diego-based business bank competing with much larger regional and global banks, needed modern digital capabilities so customers could manage complex transactions anytime, on any device. To achieve this, Silvergate engaged FIS to convert its legacy systems to a modern core and deploy Business eBanking and FIS HORIZON core banking solutions.
FIS migrated Silvergate to the HORIZON platform, customized the solution, and worked closely with Silvergate’s operations team to resolve conversion challenges and roll out new business banking features with no customer disruption. The move delivered faster processing, eliminated time-consuming manual interventions, increased automation, improved risk management and product development speed, drew overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, and helped Silvergate surpass $1 billion in assets while preparing additional feature rollouts.
