Case Study: PVH Corp. achieves high retail engagement and unified internal communication with Firstup

A Firstup Case Study

Preview of the PVH Case Study

Engaging retail employees Encouraging retail associates to show and share what they’re doing in their stores

PVH Corp., the global owner of brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, employs over 35,000 people across 40 countries, with about two‑thirds working in retail and 68% classified as non‑wired. Those frontline associates were previously disconnected from headquarters, relying on verbal briefings, mail packs and in‑store billboards, leaving corporate without an effective way to share information or receive input.

PVH deployed the Firstup platform as "PVH Insider," rolling it out to retail associates first to drive rapid adoption—98% of store managers downloaded the app—and later sharing it with more than 12,000 corporate employees. Using dynamic content, engagement campaigns and user‑generated posts, the platform created a two‑way communication channel that united brands, increased frontline engagement and allowed employees to share and be inspired by each other.
