NHS delivers 20-minute eLearning with First Media

The NHS, specifically the North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group, faced a challenge in improving the consistency of training for its staff and reducing the knowledge gap between primary and secondary care workers. To address this, they partnered with vendor First Media to create a bespoke eLearning course using the Adapt Builder authoring tool.

First Media developed a fast-paced, interactive eLearning course centered around realistic patient scenarios to educate staff on best practices and clarify boundaries of responsibility. The solution, designed for modern devices, featured engaging elements like a character named Peter Brown and a mix of activities to make the serious messages memorable. This allowed the NHS to save valuable time and money, resulting in a smoother patient transition and better clinical care overall, with integrated tracking allowing the NLCCG to monitor completion status.
