A Stress Free and Structured EHR Conversion to Our Private Cloud

Southeast Retina Center, a two‑doctor retina practice with 12 locations and 25 staff, needed to convert virtually all paper records to an electronic system while keeping secure, multi‑site access and meeting industry and government requirements. To address that challenge they partnered with First Insight Corporation and implemented MaximEyes practice management and MaximEyes EHR on a private, secure cloud.

First Insight Corporation assigned a personal technician, provided on‑site training, and supported remote troubleshooting and training resources while configuring tailored exam workflows (including a 3D drawing tool) and integrated e‑claim processing. As a result, the practice can securely access files from any of its 12 locations, eliminated the need for a transcriptionist by producing nearly 90% of continuity letters at the end of an exam, improved billing accuracy and efficiency, and successfully attested for Meaningful Use, receiving federal incentives.
