The customer, Zoom, faced challenges with uninvited guests disrupting their virtual meetings, a phenomenon known as "Zoombombing," and needed a way to better organize and control the flow of participants into large events and webinars.

The vendor, Fireflies.ai, provided its AI note-taking service to help Zoom meeting hosts offload manual note-taking. While Fireflies recorded, transcribed, and summarized meetings, the solution described was Zoom's own Waiting Room feature, which Fireflies' guide explained how to use. This allowed Zoom hosts to screen participants, prevent disruptions, and create a more secure and professional meeting environment.
