Stanford University scales real-time LLM grounding 46x with Firecrawl

Stanford University needed to provide its community with an AI tool that offered real-time information, as their LLM responses were bounded by static training data cutoffs. To solve this challenge, they turned to Firecrawl and its Search and Scrape endpoints to build the Stanford AI Playground.

Firecrawl provided a solution that required minimal setup and no infrastructure overhead. The implementation resulted in a 46x increase in the knowledge base's breadth, growing from 293 URLs to over 13,000, and enabled the processing of roughly 800 real-time web sources daily across 10,000+ domains.
