Infy.TV Efficiently Scales Ad Tech Analytics

Infy.TV, an ad tech startup helping publishers drive user engagement and monetize streaming services, needed a scalable way to ingest and analyze more than 200 million records per day for its customer-facing financial metrics dashboard. Its existing setup on AWS RDS/Postgres could only process aggregations once a day, struggled with low-latency analytical queries, and was becoming too costly to maintain.

Using Firebolt, Infy.TV implemented a micro-batch ingestion pipeline from Aerospike through AWS Kinesis Data Firehose and S3 into Firebolt, with hourly loads and a 90-day rolling retention window. Firebolt enabled sub-second query performance across 1.8 billion to 18 billion records on a modestly sized engine, and reporting latency dropped to under one hour, making analytics nearly real-time for users.
