Newell Brands, a major global consumer goods company, faced significant challenges in managing its foreign exchange (FX) exposure. To address this, Newell Brands implemented the FiREapps currency exposure management platform to automate its FX workflow. The solution aggregated global exposure data, automated trade decisions and execution, and integrated with other systems for seamless hedging. As a result, FiREapps helped Newell reduce its annual FX losses from a cumulative $88 million to under $2 million, cut trading fees by $1.3 million in a year, and significantly increase the scale and efficiency of its hedging program.
