A Fiorano Software Case Study
County of Tulare, one of California’s largest counties, needed to connect multiple justice departments—Superior Court, District Attorney, Probation, Public Defender, Sheriff, and Ag Crimes—that each used separate, incompatible systems. This created communication inefficiencies, duplicate data entry, and difficulty translating and sharing information across departments. The county turned to Fiorano Software and its SOA Platform to create a real-time integration layer without replacing its existing IT investments.
Fiorano Software implemented the Fiorano SOA Platform to bridge and transform data between the DA and Court systems using prebuilt adaptors and a flexible, standards-based architecture. The solution eliminated duplicate entries, improved accuracy, reduced human error, and saved time and costs associated with paper, ink, and manual processing. It also enabled the DA to see court decisions in real time, and County of Tulare plans to extend the platform to scheduling, financial processing, and additional departments.
