SSP, a UK-based technology provider for insurance and financial services, needed a highly scalable SOA integration platform to connect complex managed services, back-end systems, and cloud applications without expensive custom coding. As one of the leading names in the sector, SSP also needed to support thousands of end users, enable component reuse, and help its customers keep pace with constantly changing industry regulations.

Fiorano Software implemented its Fiorano SOA Platform and ESB to integrate Salesforce.com and other cloud applications with SSP’s internal API layer and back-office systems, including Motor Insurance Database synchronization. The solution enabled near real-time data transfer, reduced re-keying and .NET development effort, improved compliance and error handling, and gave SSP a reusable integration model that lowered costs, improved ROI, and could be scaled to hundreds of customers.
