Japanese Hospitality major Fujinami adopts Fiorano Integration Platform to empower franchisees

Fujinami Towel Service, a Japanese hospitality and oshibori rental company, needed to modernize a slow, error-prone fax-based order process used by its franchisees. As order volumes grew, manual handling, complex sales rules across franchises and product lines, and complicated packing/shipping requirements created bottlenecks, delays, and rising costs. Fujinami turned to Fiorano Software and its Fiorano SOA Platform to build a scalable, flexible order-processing system.

Fiorano Software delivered a web-based ESB/SOA solution with REST APIs, reusable services, monitoring, and drag-and-drop workflow design, enabling Fujinami to connect existing databases and systems while simplifying future changes. The system was built in about 90 days and cut implementation time dramatically; one use case took just two days to complete. The new e-commerce order system, e-shinzai, improved order accuracy, compressed the order-to-delivery cycle by an order of magnitude, raised productivity, and gave franchisees transaction recording and automated numbering management.
