Dynacare, one of Canada’s largest medical laboratory services providers, needed to improve the speed, accuracy, and automation of reporting for its high volume of complex medical tests. With millions of tests each year and a large network of clinicians and partners, the company was challenged by manual processing, data matching, and the need to accelerate new services. Fiorano Software’s integration platform, including Fiorano ESB and microservices capabilities, was selected to address these needs.

Fiorano Software implemented an event-driven integration solution that connected Dynacare’s core lab systems, ERP, partner vendors, HL7 interfaces, and web services. The platform automated several key workflows and reduced the time to process and deliver certain critical test results from up to three days per patient to less than two hours. As a result, Dynacare improved customer satisfaction, increased business agility, and achieved significant ROI through faster delivery and lower integration effort.
