Fiorano facilitates fundamental Messaging Infrastructure at Xylo

Xylo, Inc. builds web-based work/life solutions for Fortune 500 companies and needed a highly reliable messaging infrastructure for a four-tier J2EE application with a business facade. The company also wanted error logging, discrete event logging, strong security, and a solution that could deliver speed, scalability, reliability, and low administration overhead. Fiorano Software’s FioranoMQ was selected to meet these requirements.

Fiorano Software implemented FioranoMQ with a file-based data store, multi-level security, dynamic load balancing, and dual failover protection across both the message server and data store layers. This gave Xylo a highly available, redundant messaging platform with no unplanned downtime and no need for a relational database, simplifying architecture and reducing failure points. Xylo reported that FioranoMQ delivered performance an order of magnitude better than RDBMS-based messaging middleware.
