Fiorano Drives Digital Transformation at Bank of Kigali

Bank of Kigali Plc, one of Rwanda’s largest banks, needed to move away from point-to-point integration and build a service-oriented architecture that could connect multiple core banking systems, including Delta and T24, with ATM/card management and digital payment channels. To support this transformation, the bank worked with Fiorano Software, using Fiorano ESB and Fiorano API Management to modernize integration and expose services more consistently.

Fiorano Software implemented a common payment gateway and API-driven architecture that enabled mobile, water, utility, and corporate banking services to be consumed through a single platform. The solution supported self-service onboarding for mobile operators, secure API exposure with monitoring and authentication, and automated access to account information, transfers, and loan-related services. As a result, Bank of Kigali improved customer experience, streamlined operations, and enabled faster, more secure digital banking services for its retail, corporate, and mobile partners.
