A Fiorano Software Case Study

Preview of the Federal Bank Case Study

Federal Bank - Customer Case Study

Federal Bank, a major commercial bank in India with a large branch and ATM network, needed to speed up delivery of new digital banking services such as near real-time foreign exchange remittances via SWIFT, while also supporting future multichannel payments, kiosks, and ATM expansion. Its existing point-to-point integration approach across more than 30 banking applications created complexity, high costs, security risks, and scalability challenges. Federal Bank turned to Fiorano Software and its Fiorano ESB to address these integration needs.

Fiorano Software implemented an Enterprise Service Bus architecture to connect core banking, SWIFT partners, and multiple retail channels in a more flexible, reusable, and scalable way. The result was faster service delivery, with new business flows reportedly implemented 50% faster and customer transfers reduced from 24–48 hours to under 60 seconds. Fiorano Software also helped Federal Bank improve reliability, simplify deployment, lower learning curves, and create a foundation for future multichannel growth and regulatory reporting.
