EBank achieves digital transformation of services with Fiorano's Core Banking Integration

EBank, a Namibian financial services group focused on financial inclusion, wanted to offer accessible, low-cost banking to a geographically dispersed population. To do this, it needed to quickly integrate its Temenos T24 core banking system with multiple third-party suppliers, retail partners, and digital channels across different data formats, without heavy development on the core banking system. Fiorano Software provided the integration layer to support this challenge.

Fiorano Software implemented Fiorano Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to connect EBank’s core banking platform with USSD, internet banking, card services, Namclear EFT settlement, retailers, and utility/airtime partners. The bank went live in about 8 months, upskilled its internal team within 3 months, and reduced dependence on third-party integration development. Fiorano Software helped EBank launch services faster, improve agility and reliability, lower development and infrastructure costs, and handle around 3,000 transactions a day across 7 applications and 70,000+ customer accounts.
