A Finvi Case Study
The Superior Court of San Joaquin County, a court system handling approximately 94,000 cases annually, was challenged by its reliance on four antiquated and disparate legacy systems. These outdated systems created data silos and manual processes that made case management difficult and costly. Facing a state-mandated 18-month deadline to migrate to a new system, the court selected Justice Systems (JSI) and its FullCourt Enterprise platform to consolidate its operations.
Justice Systems implemented its FullCourt Enterprise case management software, migrating data from the legacy systems and converting over one million documents. The solution provided a centralized platform for all case types, automating manual processes and offering new capabilities like real-time reporting. The results included significant gains in productivity and cost efficiency, allowing the court to manage fluctuating caseloads more easily without adding staff and move toward a 99% electronic system, ultimately saving taxpayer money.
