Benchmark Construction, a Brownstown, Pennsylvania–based contractor serving commercial, healthcare, higher education and senior living markets, struggled with a time-consuming paper-and-pencil punch-list and QA/QC process that required field notes, administrative transcription, and slow report distribution. To modernize inspections and reporting, Benchmark implemented FinishLine Software’s FinishLine Pro app to manage punch lists, capture photos and annotate floor plans in the field.

FinishLine Software enabled Benchmark to build QC plans, record issues and unanswered questions on an iPad, and generate custom reports with photos and exact room locations—often distributed within about an hour. The solution shortened a typical inspection and punch-list workflow from weeks to a single day, improved QA/QC documentation and report distribution, and made it easier for subcontractors to locate and resolve issues.
