EY Entrepreneur of the Year - Customer Case Study

EY Finland, the Finnish branch of the global EY organization, faced a challenge with its Entrepreneur of the Year competition. The judging process lacked uniformity, varying by location with different criteria and no standardized system. They wanted to modernize the process and make it more intuitive for guest judges. To solve this, they partnered with vendor Fingertip to create a new app.

Fingertip developed a visually pleasing and interactive application that centralized candidate information and financial figures. The platform allowed judges to discuss, rate nominees, and view the voting progress of others, facilitating a fully digital process from start to finalist selection. The Fingertip app was a huge success in the 2020 competition, receiving praise from judges for its ease of use and mobile functionality. It significantly improved engagement and generated immediate interest from other EY locations for their own competitions.
