Abrigo and Finastra team up to help financial institutions provide world-class lending services

Abrigo, a Texas‑based provider of compliance, credit risk and lending software, faced rising borrower expectations for fast, same‑day loan decisions while many community banks and credit unions still relied on manual, siloed lending workflows. To address this challenge Abrigo partnered with Finastra and used Finastra’s FusionFabric.cloud to build the Fusion LaserPro Cloud Connect API, integrating Abrigo’s Sageworks loan origination solution with Finastra’s Fusion LaserPro loan documentation product.

Using Finastra’s Fusion LaserPro Cloud Connect API, Abrigo enabled one‑click transfer of loan, borrower and collateral data (more than 250 fields) from Sageworks to Fusion LaserPro with setup in a couple of days, eliminating manual mapping and reducing keystroke errors. The Finastra‑Abrigo integration delivered faster time‑to‑money and higher throughput — for example Oakstar Bank reported increased efficiency, less data entry and fewer errors — helping institutions offer same‑day approvals and improve loan processing accuracy.
