RSI Relo (Relocation Services International), a San Diego–based move management and forwarding company, was hampered by inaccurate financial data, no integration between its operations and accounting systems, an inability to run timely financial reports, and long billing delays. To address these challenges they worked with FinancialForce, implementing FinancialForce Accounting on the Salesforce/Force.com platform.
FinancialForce integrated its accounting solution with RSI Relo’s operations system on Force.com, creating a single source of truth, automating invoicing and reporting, and enabling real-time visibility. The results: days sales outstanding dropped from 160 to 45 days, average time to bill fell from about 4 months to 1 month 10 days, reporting and cross-department communication improved, data accuracy increased, and headcount/costs were better aligned—producing a dramatic ROI for RSI Relo and FinancialForce.
