Lexmark Enterprise Software was rapidly growing its services business but its legacy system couldn’t keep up: sales and services lacked visibility into each other’s activity, project tracking was fragmented, and resource planning was ineffective. To address these challenges, Lexmark partnered with FinancialForce and deployed FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) to gain real-time visibility, improve forecasting, and streamline resource and project management.
FinancialForce implemented standardized dashboards, real-time access to sales opportunities, and new forecasting and survey tools that put services and sales on the same page. As a result, FinancialForce’s PSA delivered measurable impact for Lexmark: a 2% increase in resource utilization, a 50% increase in value-added sales to existing customers, a 3% reduction in voluntary attrition, and more accurate quarterly, monthly, and weekly forecasts.
