IRM Plc, a vendor-independent information security consultancy, was running its services business across multiple systems which created disjointed processes, data integrity issues and planning inefficiencies — including around £250,000 of unbilled time and difficulty delivering 5–10 day projects. To address this, IRM implemented FinancialForce solutions, notably FinancialForce PSA and FinancialForce Accounting, together with Salesforce CRM.

FinancialForce consolidated IRM’s processes into a single data source and enabled one-click invoicing and collaborative Chatter workflows, giving the company end-to-end visibility and control. As a result, IRM increased chargeable utilization by 2% to 80%, raised fees per consultant, began managing project margins for the first time, reduced errors, recovered lost time, and supported an increase in longer (200–300 day) projects as part of the “One IRM” transformation driven by FinancialForce.
