A FinancialForce Case Study
IGX Global Corp, a small Connecticut-based provider of network and information security services, was struggling with QuickBooks and Excel-based processes: 25 regional price lists, over 33,000 part numbers, no order-backlog reporting, misaligned revenue and cost recognition, lack of access controls, and heavy duplicate data entry. To fix these issues, IGX engaged FinancialForce and adopted FinancialForce Spend Management / SCM to replace QuickBooks and consolidate financial and supply-chain data.
FinancialForce implemented an integrated SCM and accounting solution that centralized data, automated order-to-cash and PO workflows, and added controls and reporting. The results include order-to-sales conversion dropping from about an hour to seconds, cost of goods and revenue recognized in the same month, line‑item deferred revenue tracking, stronger data quality and visibility across departments, alerts that prevent overpayments, improved supplier negotiation through purchase visibility, and systems that scale to support growth and remote collaboration.
