Crunch, a Brighton-based online accounting and bookkeeping provider for freelancers, contractors and small businesses, was growing more than 50% a year and had outgrown its Sage systems—transactions jumped from about 8–9,000 to 80–90,000, reporting took 15–20 days, systems were disjointed and senior managers couldn’t access up-to-date financials remotely. To solve these issues, Crunch selected FinancialForce and implemented FinancialForce Accounting.
FinancialForce moved Crunch to a connected cloud finance platform (including the FinancialForce Action Views mobile app), linking sales through to invoicing and centralizing data. As a result, Crunch now processes 90,000+ transactions with ease, reduced reporting time from 15–20 days to 5–6 days, gained real-time access to financials anywhere, improved data quality and customer responsiveness, and lowered maintenance overhead.
