A FinancialForce Case Study
CDI Spaces, a small Edmonton-based design, construction and furnishing firm, was outgrowing QuickBooks and struggling with disconnected systems: QuickBooks wasn’t linked to Salesforce, causing manual data entry, synchronization issues and data silos between sales, operations and finance. To unify processes and gain a single customer view, CDI Spaces adopted FinancialForce ERP (built on the Salesforce Platform) for accounting, PSA, billing and spend management.
FinancialForce implemented a single-cloud solution connecting services, accounting, inventory and CRM, enabling end-to-end workflows from opportunity to invoice and automated dashboards for forecasting. As a result, CDI Spaces saw measurable improvements: Net Promoter Scores rose from mid-5/6/7s to 9–10s, AR aging improved from ~30% over 90 days to 15% over 60 days, cash flow forecasting accuracy increased (60/90/120-day visibility), and manual data entry and related costs were significantly reduced.
