Summit School Spotlight: An Easy and Happy Finalsite Redesign

Summit School, a K–9 school in Winston‑Salem, NC, engaged Finalsite to replace its decade‑old website with a modern, responsive design. The challenge was not only updating the look but also managing timelines, content readiness, and clear communication between the school’s advancement team and webmaster and the Finalsite team.

Finalsite’s designer and project manager worked closely with Director of Advancement Nancy Tuohy and longtime webmaster Karen House, using a team-based process, realistic milestones, and attentive project management to keep the redesign on track. After resolving a small issue with a social‑media mash‑up, the new responsive site launched in under five months, pleasing parents and stakeholders.
