St. Mary's Ryken High School - Customer Case Study

Finalsite partnered with St. Mary’s Ryken High School, a Maryland Catholic college-preparatory with an iPad 1:1 program, to tackle rising printing costs, fragmented communication, and the challenge of shifting to blended learning—one teacher had been making 21,000 copies a year. SMR wanted a responsive website redesign and an LMS that would streamline assignments, calendars, resources and make the school more sustainable.

Finalsite integrated its LMS into SMR’s web solution, mandated use of Calendar and Resources, added Dropbox for submissions, preloaded Notability on student iPads, and provided schoolwide training. The result: higher student engagement, better faculty and team communication, centralized online forms via Finalsite Portals, widespread digital assignment submission, and significant paper- and cost-savings (one teacher’s annual printing bill dropped by an estimated $5,250).
