Singapore American School (SAS), the world’s largest single-campus K–12 international school, partnered with Finalsite to undertake a full website redesign to better showcase 60 years of history, state-of-the-art facilities and academic programs while organizing public and private content for a global audience. The communications team needed a best-in-class site that improved navigation and admissions flows, supported heavy content migration, protected community privacy, and helped SAS stand out in a crowded Singapore market — all on a realistic budget and timeline.
Working with Finalsite, SAS used off-peak pricing, extensive research, new information architecture, and Finalsite’s Composer CMS (backed by a cloud CDN) to rebuild the site in eight months, add video storytelling, streamline admissions with a “Join the SAS Family” pathway, and centralize portals for parents, staff and alumni. The redesign — supported by a project manager and an in-house designer — delivered measurable gains: increased site visitors, longer average session duration, lower bounce rates, positive user feedback, and cleaner internal communications, with ongoing SEO and content efforts expected to drive further qualified traffic.
