A Finalsite Case Study
Nardin Academy, an independent Catholic school in Buffalo with three campuses, faced the challenge of using social media to shape perceptions, engage current and prospective families, and drive website traffic — all without a dedicated social media manager. Leadership recognized that social platforms were central to modern decision-making and needed a strategic, authentic approach to storytelling that fit the school’s limited resources.
The school’s marketing team, led by Director of Strategic Marketing Alexandra Tramposch and supported by a collaborative staff member, implemented a consistent program: posting roughly three times daily on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, sourcing student- and staff-generated content, participating in trends and holidays, running a separate athletics Twitter, and integrating social feeds into their website via Finalsite Feeds. The result was higher engagement, increased website referral traffic, successful campaigns (welcome videos, alumni reunion content, live athletics updates) and stronger community connections that helped drive inquiries and conversions.
