A Finalsite Case Study
Manchester Township School District replaced its expiring Schoolwires/Blackboard contract with Finalsite to address widespread complaints that the old site was hard to use on phones and to secure a more modern, responsive design and content management system. The district wanted a site that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops and offers a better experience for parents, students, staff and the community.
Finalsite delivered a mobile-friendly, dynamic site with a user-friendly CMS, school-specific pages, integrated social feeds, calendars, resource links (PTA, foundation, booster), and plans for email/text alerts and an e-newsletter plus a parent focus group. The new contract reduced costs from $8,800 annually to $7,500 the first year and $8,000 thereafter, saving the district roughly $800–$1,300 per year.
