Featured by Finalsite, Lakeside School aimed to increase engagement, keep content fresh, and deliver the right information to different audiences while better showcasing the people who make the school unique. The communications team needed authentic, scalable ways to highlight faculty, students, parents, and alumni across the website and social channels.
They launched a short-form video series (#OneMinuteLessons), student and alumni Instagram takeovers (including #lifeafterlakeside), and a constituent-driven "On Our Minds" blog with handwritten Q&As. The campaigns drove strong engagement—videos reached about 4,000 views each—expanded storytelling across platforms, tapped community contributors to reduce staff workload, and created sustainable content the school plans to continue.
