St. Mary School, a Catholic independent school in Waterbury, CT, was grappling with the widespread enrollment declines affecting many independent and Catholic schools and needed a faster, more strategic admissions approach. Leadership prioritized improving the school’s online presence and the speed of website updates to make information and events easily discoverable by prospective families.

They switched to Finalsite’s Composer CMS, redesigned the site, and used Multimedia Manager, Calendar Manager and eNotify to publish timely news, promote open houses and send targeted emails. Within months inquiries surged and enrollment rose nearly 12% for 2017–2018 (197 students enrolled); about 90% of callers said they found the school online, and email campaigns achieved a 64% open rate and 58% click-through rate.
