Forman School, an independent school serving students with learning differences, faced the challenge of attracting families and changing perceptions that had been framed by overly sentimental “sad violin” portrayals. With video consumption rising, the school needed a way to tell more authentic, positive stories that showcased students’ talents and daily life.
They shifted to short, student-centered videos and a campaign called “Different Does,” distributing content via targeted email and social posts with audience-specific messages. The results were dramatic: videos that once reached a few hundred views now drew thousands (multiple pieces reached 8k–43k views, one campaign hit ~20k), engagement and shares surged, video pages became top site traffic drivers, and the effort generated increased inquiries and momentum in their enrollment pipeline.
