LOX Extensions is a mid-sized online and wholesale seller of ready-to-apply hair extensions founded in 2010. Rapid growth — nearly doubling in four years and processing thousands of orders per month across direct sales, distributors and TV — pushed their QuickBooks-based inventory system beyond its limits; the COO, Pat Bianchi, was spending hours on reorders, receiving and tracking because Excel/Visual Basic workarounds couldn’t scale.

LOX implemented Finale Inventory (with ShipStation and QuickBooks integrations and a barcode-scanning solution), getting up and running in about 24 hours. The new system simplified imports/exports, cut reorder time from hours to seconds, reduced receiving from a day to under an hour, and drove counting errors to almost zero, allowing real-time returns tracking and freeing the COO to focus on growth.
