Yates Electrical Services Group powers 5,000 homes with FIMER

Yates Electrical Services Group (YES Group), a long-term leader in delivering renewable energy solutions in South Australia, was challenged to design, install, and commission five mid-large scale solar farm projects for the regional grid. They required a high-quality, modular, and scalable inverter technology to deploy a distributed network of solar farms efficiently and to a high standard. They chose to implement FIMER's PVS-175 string inverters and Medium Voltage Compact Skid solution for these projects.

FIMER provided its PVS-175 inverters and pre-fabricated MVCS skids, which offered design flexibility, reduced balance of system costs, and enabled a cost-effective connection to the grid. The first two projects, the 1.9 MW Bowmans and 4 MW Renmark solar farms, were successfully commissioned. Together, they now produce over 14,850 MWh of electricity annually, enough to power more than 2,000 homes and making a significant contribution to South Australia's renewable energy generation.
