Rural Fire Brigade in Sussex Inlet gains 4.0 kWh solar backup with FIMER

The customer, a rural fire brigade in Sussex Inlet, faced significant operational challenges during the devastating 2019/2020 bushfire season, including threats of blackouts and power failures at their station that could hinder their critical response efforts. To address this, vendor FIMER collaborated with Sure Solar and SOLARWATT to provide a solution centered on FIMER's REACT 2 hybrid inverter and battery system.

The solution implemented by FIMER involved donating and installing a REACT 2 5.0 kW hybrid inverter and a 4.0 kWh battery module, integrated with SOLARWATT solar panels. This system, supported by FIMER's Energy Viewer monitoring app, made the fire brigade station self-sufficient during grid outages, ensuring operational resilience and providing the team with real-time energy data to help manage costs.
