The customer Lácteos La Esmeralda, a dairy products company in Colombia, faced high and costly energy consumption at its production plant. Partnering with vendor FIMER and installer ESSI - Copower, the project aimed to install a photovoltaic system to reduce energy costs and increase self-consumption.
FIMER provided its PVS-120-TL solar inverters for a 669kWp ground-mounted solar park. The solution achieved significant results, reducing the plant's energy consumption by approximately 90,000 kWh per month and saving up to 36% on its electricity bill. FIMER's technology and technical support enabled an efficient installation that lowered overall investment costs for the client.
