Carioca covers 15% of site energy with FIMER solar plant

The historic Italian writing and drawing materials company Carioca sought to advance its sustainability mission and reduce energy costs at its Turin headquarters. To achieve this, the company partnered with vendor FIMER to implement a photovoltaic system for energy self-consumption, adopting FIMER's PVS-100-TL string inverters and smart monitoring solutions.

FIMER provided the technological heart of the system, with five high-efficiency inverters enabling optimized energy collection. The solution included the innovative Energy Viewer app for comprehensive monitoring and management. The installed plant generates approximately 524,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, covering 15% of the site's energy needs and reducing CO2 emissions by over 278,000 kg per year, resulting in significant economic savings for Carioca.

Carioca
