Case Study: Capgemini achieves 100% renewable power with FIMER BESS inverters

A FIMER Case Study

Preview of the Capgemini Case Study

Capgemini powers 100% renewable energy with FIMER, cutting 70,000 tonnes of carbon emissions a year

FIMER supplied its PVS980-58BC 2 MVA inverters to help a leading IT multinational company, Capgemini, fulfill its 100% renewable power obligation. The challenge involved ensuring a stable and uninterrupted power supply while integrating renewable energy sources and reducing carbon emissions.

The solution involved installing two Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at Capgemini campuses in Mumbai and Noida, using FIMER's bidirectional power conversion systems to store excess solar energy. The results significantly supported the customer's renewable energy goals, contributing to an estimated reduction of 70,000 tonnes of carbon emissions per year and providing reliable backup power through FIMER's technology.
