MCI Group unifies its people development offering

MCI Group, a global leader in events and association management delivering 6,800+ projects a year and supporting 2,500+ people across 60+ offices in 31 countries, needed to unify a growing, complex L&D ecosystem while its central L&D team had shrunk by 60% to just two people. To move from top‑down prescriptions to a learner‑centric, measurable approach, MCI Group adopted Filtered’s magpie recommendation engine (branded “RoSe” at MCI).

Filtered integrated magpie/RoSe with MCI’s Switch LMS, single sign‑on via Microsoft Azure AD and external libraries like MindTools and Grovo to deliver personalised learning pathways and data insights. The rollout drove strong engagement — nearly a third of users active monthly in launched offices (vs typical 5–10%) and about 5 content launches per user (magpie average 3.9) — giving MCI Group actionable usage data to identify content gaps, optimise campaigns and better link learning activity to business performance.
