Case Study: AstraZeneca achieves data-driven learning content relevance and optimized content spend with Filtered

A Filtered Case Study

Preview of the AstraZeneca Case Study

How AstraZeneca adopted a data-driven approach to learning content management

AstraZeneca, a global biopharmaceutical company undergoing a multiyear learning transformation, needed a scalable way to identify high‑quality, relevant learning content across a fragmented array of libraries to support five enterprise capability areas (e.g., learning agility, leadership, data and digital). Lacking data to measure content relevance at scale, AstraZeneca partnered with Filtered to apply content intelligence and relevance analysis driven by AI.

Filtered worked with AstraZeneca SMEs to define a framework of 42 skills, mined and validated keywords, and configured its content‑intelligence algorithms to analyze almost 300,000 assets across 10 content libraries in about two months. Filtered’s benchmarking and relevance insights revealed overlap, uniqueness, and gaps, enabling AstraZeneca to consolidate providers, inform procurement decisions, conduct a whole‑market review, and expect improved ROI on learning content spend.
